Happy Pride!

Happy Pride!

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem, N.C. is an inclusive place for you to grow in your faith. We are a house of prayer for all people, it is written above the doors when you enter our worship space. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ Community, know that you are welcome here as a fully included child of God. At St. Paul’s you will be a valued part of our parish, free to explore your faith without judgment, where all sacraments are available to you, including marriage. Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome here.

If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community and would like to learn more about St. Paul's, there are lots of ways to explore. Here are some places to begin:

  • Come to a service! Whether you are a cradle Episcopalian, or have never experienced common worship, attending a service is a great way to learn more about what our worship is like. If you would like to learn more about visiting in-person, click here >
  • Watch online. Not ready to walk onto our historic campus? You can watch previously recorded services on our Vimeo page. We also livestream our services on Sunday. You can get more information about our next online service here>
  • Hear us on Spotify. We have two podcasts. The Sermons at St. Paul's is updated weekly with sermons from our preachers. The MatchUp at St. Paul's is a fun discussion where two people debate a theme (i.e. The Most Misunderstood Bible Verse). This is a great way to learn more about some of the church leaders and how we explore our faith.
  • Sign Up for our Emails. Our weekly email is the best way to stay up to date with upcoming events. You can sign up here>
  • Speak with someone. If you would like to speak with someone you can email Jason Franklin. Jason is St. Paul's Director of Communications. He is also a lay preacher at St. Paul's and often shares his perspective as a married gay man from the pulpit. Jason also leads Queer St. Paul's, one of the church's LGBTQ+ small groups.

Welcome to St. Paul's!
